My Philosophy

Commitment to Continuous Learning

I don’t think of my license as a finish line — it’s more like a starting point. Bodywork is a craft, and the therapists who stay good at it are the ones who never stop learning. So I keep going: continuing education, hands-on workshops, and study time built around the techniques my clients actually ask for.

A lot of my recent focus has been on deep tissue and myofascial work, along with the structural principles behind Erik Dalton’s approach. The more I understand how the body is put together — how tension in one area pulls on another — the more precise and effective my sessions become. That shows up in the room as work that finds the right spot faster and holds a little longer.

Staying current also means being honest about scope. I’m a licensed massage therapist, not a doctor, and part of good training is knowing where my work helps and when to point someone toward the right professional. That clarity protects you and keeps every session focused on what massage does well: easing tension, supporting recovery, and helping you feel more at home in your body.

When you book with me, you’re getting the benefit of all that ongoing effort — a therapist who genuinely cares about doing the work right and getting a little better at it every year.
