Clear expectations so every session is safe, professional, and relaxing.

Policies & Disclaimers

Arrival & Punctuality

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so we can review your intake, get you settled, and begin on time. Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.

If a session begins late because of a late arrival, that time generally cannot be added to the end of your appointment, as the schedule is often booked back-to-back. The session will end at its originally scheduled time, and the appointment is not discounted or refunded for the shortened duration. Thank you for understanding and respecting other clients' reserved times.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Plans change — that's okay. You may cancel or reschedule online up to 24 hours before your appointment through your confirmation email or your account. Within 24 hours, please call or text so we can adjust the schedule. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require a deposit for future bookings.

Informed Consent & Scope of Practice

Massage therapy is provided for the purpose of relaxation, stress reduction, and relief from muscular tension. Your therapist is a licensed massage therapist, not a physician, and does not diagnose illness, prescribe medication, or perform spinal/skeletal adjustments. Nothing provided constitutes medical advice or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider. You may ask questions, request changes to pressure or technique, or end the session at any time for any reason.

Your Health Information

It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant health conditions, injuries, allergies, medications, and pregnancy on your intake form and to keep this information current. Certain conditions may be contraindicated for massage; the therapist may decline or modify treatment for your safety. Please reschedule if you have a fever or a contagious or infectious condition.

Draping & Florida Law

Under Florida law (Department of Health, Board of Massage Therapy — Fla. Admin. Code 64B7), the genitalia, groin, femoral triangle, anus, buttocks, gluteal cleft, and the breasts of female clients must remain draped (covered) at all times during a massage, unless you provide specific written informed consent to be undraped, which is then noted in your treatment plan. Alternative draping options are offered within these regulations and are selected and signed for on your intake form. You may change or withdraw your draping preference at any time, including during your session.

Professional, Non-Sexual Environment

This is a strictly professional therapeutic practice. Any sexual remark, advance, or solicitation will result in immediate termination of the session, payment of the full session fee, and refusal of future service, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Mutual respect keeps this space safe for everyone.

Right to Refuse or End Service

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time, including for intoxication, inappropriate behavior, signs of a contagious condition, or any situation that feels unsafe. The full session fee may apply when a session is ended for these reasons.

"Your Choice Location" (Mobile/Outcall) Terms

When you choose to have your massage at your own location, you agree to provide a safe, clean, private, and well-lit space with room for the massage table, and to ensure no one present creates an unsafe or inappropriate environment. The therapist may decline to begin or may end the session and leave if the location is unsafe or inappropriate, in which case the session fee may still apply. The exact Main Office address is shared privately after a booking is confirmed for safety and security.

Assumption of Risk & Liability

Massage may involve sustained pressure and movement and can occasionally result in temporary soreness or bruising. By booking, you acknowledge these normal effects and agree that the therapist is not liable for conditions you did not disclose or for outcomes arising from inaccurate information. If you are pregnant, recently injured, or under medical care, please consult your physician before booking. This release does not waive liability for gross negligence or misconduct.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your personal and health information is kept confidential and used only to provide and schedule your care. We do not sell or share your information. Your intake form and signatures are stored privately on the therapist’s own computer, not with any third party. By booking, you consent to receive appointment-related emails (confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notices).
